Trent Edwards was sent packing from Buffalo, and was quickly picked up by, the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former Stanford QB, should find the weather more to his liking in Florida. While the Jaguars are collectively a more talented team then the Bills, they have problems at the receiver position as well. With no legitimate #1 receiver, the Jaguars will need to improve the talent at the position to help whoever QB's the team. Depending how quickly Edwards learns the offense, will determine how fast we see him on the field for the Jags. Things aren't looking good for Garrard.
LeGarrette Blount finished his college career in Oregon in disgrace, suspended for punching an opponent. Signed as a free agent by the Tennessee Titans, Blount was cut during the pre-season. Picked up by Tampa Bay, Blount scored his first professional touchdown on Sunday and looks like a good complement to Cadillac Williams. If he stays out of trouble, Blount could turn out to be a steel.
