The New England Patriots will go into Miami and try to escape Miami with a victory. For the Patriots to come away with a win, their defense will have to play better.
The Patriots defense is currently ranked, 26th in the league, and 29th in points allowed. If New England can't stop the Dolphins running game, they won't have a chance. An effective Dolphins rushing game will open up the passing game, and Brandon Marshall will have a big game against an inexperienced Patriots secondary.
Tom Brady will use his tight ends, to make off set a struggling Patriots rushing game. The Patriots can win a shoot out against the Dolphins with their offense, but they'd rather not. The best way to victory for the Patriots is a ball controlled offense, that keeps their defense on the sideline. Getting out to an early lead will also improve the Patriots chances at victory.
For the Dolphins, a good running game will move their offense and keep Tom Brady on the sideline. They'll look to exploit a weak Patriots defense. Miami needs to take care of the ball, because you don't want to give Brady and the Patriots offense additional chances.
