In the early games:
Jets beat Bills as expected 38-14. Sanchez and Tomlinson had big games, the Bills did not. Note to Bills QB Fitzpatrick, learn to slide when you run.
49ers remained winless with another tough loss this time to the Atlanta Falcons. 49ers had an interception returned and instead of having good field position with time running out, they fumbled the ball during the interception return which led to a late Falcons game winning field goal.
Ravens beat Steelers on the last drive of the game in a great defensive match up.
Saints win a close one against the Panthers, 16-14. Panthers rookie QB Clausen played his best pro game.
Denver Broncos defeated the Titans thanks to a huge game by Kyle Orton, over 350 yards, and the Broncos defense containing the Titans run game.
The Cleveland Browns won their first game 23-20 over the Bengals. Terrell Owens had a huge game, over 200 yards receiving, but it wasn't enough. What's happened to Carson Palmer?
Packers defeated the Lions in a close game 28-26.
The Rams beat up the Seahawks 20-3. The future in St. Louis looks bright with Sam Bradford under center.
In the Later Games:
Jags surprised the Colts with a late field goal, and won 28-31.
The Texans defeated the Raiders 31-24 behind another good game by Foster.
Chargers beat the Cardinals. Derek Anderson had another poor performance and was replaced by, Hall. This may be the end of Anderson in Arizona.
In the Eagles, Redskins game, Michael Vick was injured during a run. Kolb replaced him and couldn't do enough to get the Eagles a victory. Hopefully Vick won't miss too much time.
Another week and, 2 teams remain winless, the Bills and 49ers.
The Jets continue to look good, the Bills look horrible.
Carson Palmer doesn't look like the Palmer of old.
